Robin Forestier-Walker (Tbilisi, Georgia)
TV correspondent and documentary film maker

Robin has been writing and broadcasting between London, Almaty and Tbilisi since 2008. A former BBC journalist, Robin now reports for Al Jazeera English, covering news from Bishkek to Kyiv and most recently the Velvet Revolution in Armenia. He has produced and presented for Al Jazeera’s current affairs shows  The Listening Post, People and Power and 101 East. His web series Clash of Narratives, a wry take on political echo chambers, was Coda Story’s official selection for Raindance 2017, London’s biggest independent film festival. Robin lives in Tbilisi and is currently researching mental health in Georgia. He is also participating in Documentary Campus, a German-supported documentary training programme. Robin hopes to direct a feature documentary about Soviet memory in 2019.
